Winter Season (December to February):
Perfect weather for this short cultural tour! Days are sunny and pleasant (12–18°C in Paro/Thimphu/Punakha), skies are crystal clear for Himalayan views, and the Tiger’s Nest hike is much easier with cool temperatures. Very few tourists = peaceful monasteries and no crowds anywhere.
Early Spring (March):
Still excellent — temperatures start rising slightly, rhododendrons begin blooming in Punakha & Paro valleys, and you get the best of both winter clarity and spring colors. Ideal for photography and comfortable sightseeing.
